Barley Straw is the traditional natural treatment for algae in ponds.

This treatment will take 2-6 weeks to completely as it relies on the natural bacterial breakdown of the Barley straw to generate peroxide which kills the algae - this is dependent on water temperatures and specific pond conditions.

This product may be used in ponds with filters and all species of pond fish, plants and water using wildlife.
